Det britiske heavy-metal bandet Iron Maiden skrev i 1982 en sang de kalte "666, the number of the beast".

I følge Bibelen er 666 djevelens nummer, oger da en spott mot Gud. Refererer til: Johannes åpenbaring 13,11 og 20,2.
